Way back in 2002 our founder visited Northern Thailand to work with people with a disability in their local communities.
Here he saw grandmothers carrying teenagers on their back because they didn't have access to a basic wheelchair, kids excluded from school simply because they didn't have the equipment to allow them access, and under-supported local allied health professionals striving every day to make a difference with the resources they had to hand.
Now, our wider team at Joey strive towards two distinct, but interlinked aims.
To provide friendly, approachable and expert support to our Australian customers by supplying high quality equipment solutions;
whilst also striving to make an impact for people with a disability and their supporters throughout South East Asia.
It's for this reason 100% of our profits are used to support people with a disability across South East Asia.
